Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Signwise. By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you are welcome to discontinue your use of the Service at any time. Signwise is operated as a sole trader registered under Italian law.

2. Not legal advice

Important: Signwise provides educational analysis only. Nothing produced by this Service constitutes legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is formed. Always consult a qualified lawyer before making decisions with legal consequences.

3. Use of the service

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Signwise.
  • You may only upload documents you have the right to share.
  • You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API.
  • Automated bulk analysis without prior written consent is prohibited.

4. Credits and payments

  • One free analysis is provided per email address.
  • Purchased credits are non-refundable once used.
  • Unused credits on one-time purchases do not expire.
  • Monthly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel anytime before the renewal date to avoid being charged.
  • All prices are in EUR and inclusive of applicable VAT where required.

5. Intellectual property

The Signwise name, logo, analysis methodology, and website design are proprietary. You may not reproduce or redistribute them without permission. Analysis output generated for your document is yours to use for personal or internal business purposes.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Signwise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on its output. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
